Eric Clopper is owner of The Clopper Law Firm, P.C. and is Intact Global's Founder & President.
Eric is a proud Jew and children's rights activist who has been advocating to protect children from genital mutilation for his entire adult life.
Prior to realizing that circumcision was actually male genital mutilation, Clopper's plan was to get his PhD in physics. In fact, while still only 18 years old, Harvard faculty hired Clopper to assist in writing a graduate-level thermodynamics textbook. A few years later, Clopper earned his physics degree with highest honors from Colgate University.
After his undergraduate years, Clopper began his professional life as a technical management consultant at Epic Systems. Because Epic did not contribute to Clopper's life mission to protect children from genital mutilation, Clopper resigned from Epic and started working at Harvard again.
After managing a 5-day, 400-person conference with no errors, Harvard University hired Clopper to be one of its two officers to manage its Language Center. While co-managing Harvard's Language Center, Clopper developed his groundbreaking 2018 intactivist Play: Sex & Circumcision: An American Love Story.
Despite Harvard promising Clopper that Harvard would not retaliate against him for voicing his beliefs on the evils of male genital mutilation, Harvard lied. In response to Clopper's intactivist Play, Harvard terminated Clopper and then drove Clopper's boss (and Harvard's own Language Center Director) to suicide.
In response, Clopper enrolled in Georgetown University Law Center then filed suit against Harvard. While still litigating with Harvard, Clopper graduated from Georgetown Law and gained 3 years of on-the-ground litigation experience at the Kane Law Firm in Los Angeles.
Now, as the President of Intact Global and the Owner of the Clopper Law Firm, Attorney Clopper is uniquely poised to challenge the constitutionality of America's laws that prohibit female genital mutilation but still allow male genital mutilation to continue without restriction.
