Decision Making Process

Our process for major decisions

Every major decision begins with committee research, reviewed by the Communications Committee for mission alignment, assessed by the Executive Team for risk and impact, and then recommended to the Board for approval or rejection.

Every major organizational decision begins with:

  1. Research: Relevant committee conducts research and outlines potential strategies;
  2. Mission Alignment: Communications Committee evaluates these strategies for mission alignment and messaging effectiveness;
  3. Risk & Impact: Executive Team reviews the plans for risk and impact;
  4. Board Vote: Originating committee drafts a recommendation for the Board of Directors to approve or reject.
