Groundbreaking Constitutional Lawsuit Filed Against the State of Oregon
Challenging Oregon's anti-Female Genital Mutilation statute for failing to protect boys from non-consensual genital cutting.
“This lawsuit is about one simple, urgent principle: equal protection under the law,” said Eric Clopper, Founder of Intact Global and lead counsel on the case. “If Oregon protects girls from non-consensual genital cutting, it must protect boys and intersex children too. Anything less is unconstitutional.”
